Good morning! It’s Tuesday and that means we have a new challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper. Here is the inspiration for this challenge
I came across a tutorial for making paper toile cards and fell in love with the results of that technique and had to give it a try. Well I have to tell you I am hooked on it!
I started with a Crumb Cake card base and then my next layer is a piece off off white embossed with the SU script folder and then a piece of Tip Top Taupe lace ribbon around the center. Next is a layer of Taken With Teal added with pop dots. Next I took another piece of off white and stamped the En Francais background stamp in crumb cake and then stamped the SU Swallowtail stamp in Taken With Teal. Now for the fun part! I stamped the Swallowtail 3 more times on off white cardstock with Taken With Teal ink. I fussy cut the entire first image and lined it up on the original piece and trimmed it to match that image and then layered on top using pop dots. I then took the second image and fussy cut just the inner wings and added that on top using pop dots. And finally I took the third image and fussy cut just the thorax and added it using pop dots. I then added the completed piece to the teal layer. To finish I accented parts of the swallowtail with glossy accents.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you can play along with us for this challenge!
Until next time
Happy crafting 🙂

This is gorgeous! I love all the depth to your layers! That is a great idea to use the same image multiple times to add depth! Beautifully done!
