Hello today I wanted to share a card I made for a family very close to me and my family. Last week they lost 2 of their beloved dogs, who were the mother and sister to our family dog Bandit. I made this card with a stamp set from Our Daily Bread.
Hello! Today I am over at http://canyoucaseit.com with their challenge this week CYCI #70 Designers choice May Flowers. My card this week is inspired by Jodi McKinney. I choose a flower from the Stampin Up set Butterfly Basics. I started with a page from an old book and put a layer of gesso over it. After that dried I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo and then stamped the flower image with Stazon jet black. I then watercolored the flowers and stems with Tim Holtz markers. I stamped the honeycomb stamp trailing up the left side. I hope you enjoy my card and all the entries for this weeks challenge!
Wanted to share this card I made for our local Fire Department. Their annual yard party is coming up and this is what I will put my donation in. My son is a volunteer Firefighter for this engine company so they hold a special place in my heart. I used a retired set from Stampin Up called Fire Brigrade. Hope you enjoy the card!
First I would like to wish all moms out there a Happy Mothers Day! I started my weekend with the determination of getting some organizing completed in my craft room. Friday I purchased some IKEA bookshelves from my friends yard sale and brought them home and my mission started. As of this morning I have one wall completed. I am super happy with the results.
