Good morning! First I would like to send my thoughts and prayers out to everyone who have been affected by hurricane Irma. I hope that you and your families are safe and out of harms way.
Today I am sharing my card for our new challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper. Now that we are officially into the Fall season we have a CAS Fall challenge for you this week
For my card I am showcasing products from Brutus Monroe that I used to create my card. I will link all the products at the end of my post. I started with one of the Brutus Monroe precut and folded 6×6 white card bases. Next I added a layer of Basic Black. For the main layer I used a piece of preprinted cardstock from the Brutus Monroe Tangled Elements pad. Next came the fun of coloring with my copics! Here is a picture my girlfriend Heather Collins took of me coloring. I hate getting my picture taken and she got this without me knowing lol.
After I finished coloring all the leaves I wrapped a piece of the white and black grosgrain ribbon around this layer using Brutus Monroe craft glue and then added to my card on top the black layer. Next I took another piece of the ribbon and made a bow and added to the left side using a glue dot. For the sentiment I cut a small rectangle piece of black cardstock and stamped the sentiment, from the Brutus Monroe set Autumn Thanks, in embossing ink and heat embossed with the Alabaster embossing powder. To finish I popped the sentiment on the right hand side of the ribbon using dimensionals.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my creation this week.
Until next time
Happy Crafting ๐
