SIP Color Challenge #20

Good morning! It’s Tuesday which means we have another challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper.

This week we have a color challenge for you

SIP #20 Color Challenge

This is what I created with these colors

Best Thoughts

I started with a Early Espresso card base with a layer of Blushing Bride. Next I cut the top layer in Whisper White and stamped the flower from the set Best Thoughts in Memento black and then colored the image in with my Stampin Write markers. For the sentiment I used a Kraft tag and distressed it in Early Espresso ink and then heat embossed the sentiment in gold and attached the ribbon.  Finally I roughed the edges all the way around and layered on top of the Blushing Bride.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed my creation! I hope you can play along with us this week at Stamp Ink Paper

Until next time

SIP Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #19

Good morning! It’s a nice chilly morning and the leaves have turned and are absolutely gorgeous!! It’s Tuesday and that means we have a new challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper. This week our inspiration is a great assortment of choices in this Tic-Tac-Toe board

SIP Challenge #19O

Arent these great choices for the Fall season! Here is what I created

Celebrate The Season

I started with a Tangerine Tango card base. The next layer is Pear Pizzazz and the top is Kraft cardstock that I stamped the Stampin Up Hardwood background stamp on. Next I die cut the leaf from the Leaflets framelits, one in burlap and another on watercolor cardstock. I stamped the image from Happy scenes in Stazon on the watercolor leaf die cut and then using my Tim Holtz markers watercolored the image. I then went back in and colored the leaves and pumpkins in the image with fall colors. Next I wrapped the Pear Pizzazz and Hardwood layers with a piece of Crumb Cake tulle and then attached those layers to my card base. I layered the burlap and watercolored leaves and mounted them on top of the tulle and then accented the leaves with some twine. To finish I stamped the sentiment from Happy Scenes on whisper white and then layered on top of a piece of Pear Pizzazz and popped it up on the top of my card.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed my creation for this weeks Challenge at Stamp Ink Paper. I hope you can play along with us this week

Until next time

SIP Sketch Challenge #18

Good morning!! It’s a perfectly beautiful fall day here in my part of the world. I hope it’s as beautiful wherever you are! It’s Tuesday so that means we have another challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper. This week our inspiration for you is from a sketch

SIP Sketch Challenge #18

For my card I choose one of the sets from the Stampin Up holiday catalog called Cozy Christmas.

Cozy Christmas

I started with a Whisper White card base. Next I die cut 2 stitched circles using dies from My Favorite Things, the larger circle in Night of Navy and the smaller circle in Whisper White. I sponged the sky on the white circle with Marina Mist and Pacific Point inks using a 1/2 circle mask to create the moon. Next I stamped the images from Cozy Christmas and colored in the trees with my Tim Holtz markers. I used a white gel pen to create the effect of falling snow. For the bottom of the circle I used liquid glue and Martha Stewart snow glitter to create the snow.  I layered the circles and placed on the card front and using Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon I placed a ribbon above the circles and a strip below and then accented with the merry die cut from the Christmas Greetings thinlets.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed my creation. I hope that you can come check out all the cards that were created for this weeks Sketch Challenge at Stamp Ink Paper and that you will play along with us this week!

Until next time

SIP #17 – Floral

Good Morning! We are finally getting a break from the rain here in Virginia. I hope wherever you are its warm and sunny! It’s Tuesday and that means we have another fun challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper.  This week our inspiration is Floral

SIP #17 - Floral

I choose to use a stamp set I purchased from I Brake For Stamps.  This is what I created

I Brake For Stanps

I created the background for this card using a product called Bister in red yellow and green and a piece of water color paper.  After spritzing the colors with water and the crystals did their magic I let the paper dry completely.  Next I stamped all the flower stamps with Stazon black ink.  Next I used a blender pen and bleach and lifted the colors out from the sunflowers.  After the paper dried again I used my Tim Holtz distress markers and colored the sunflowers in yellow.  Next I used a white gel pen and highlighted the petals of the sunflowers and the centers of the draping flowers on the top and bottom.  To finish I stamped the sentiments and popped them on.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have enjoyed my creation today.  I hope you can play along with our challenge this week!

Until next time
