SIP Challenge #41 Weddings

Good morning! I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday. This is such a beautiful time of the year. Everything is blooming, especially the Cherry Blossoms right now. Ok down to business lol!

It’s Tuesday and that means we have a new challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper.  And here is your inspiration

SIP Challenge #41 Weddings

I love making wedding cards! It’s such a happy and exciting event in someone’s life.  Here is the card I made

Your Perfect Day

I started with a Whisper White card base and then another layer of white embossed with the Script folder from Cuttlebug.  Next I die cut the image in white using the die from the Bloomin Love bundle and accented with layered flowers and rhinestones.  I added this to the embossed layer using pop dots.  To finish I wrapped a piece of ribbon around the bottom of this layer and stamped the sentiment from the set Your Perfect Day in Stazon black directly on the ribbon and then added a bow using the same ribbon and then attached this to the card base.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my card this week and I can’t wait to see what you create for this challenge.

Until next time

Happy crafting 🙂

SIP#34 Love Challenge

Good morning! We are getting more of that white stuff here in Virginia this morning and we still have some from that massive storm we got a little over 2 weeks ago! Ok on to more happy things

It’s Tuesday and that means we have a new challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper.  This week our inspiration is Love

SIP #34 Love Challenge

Here is what I created

Love Is In The Air

I started my card with a Real Red card base.  The next layer is a piece of Whisper White embossed with the Square Lattice emvossing folder and a piece of real red ribbon wrapped around the middle.  Next I die cut 3 hearts from the SU heart framelits.  On the largest heart I stamped the En Francais background stamp in Real Red ink, the middle heart I embossed with the Square Lattice folder and the smallest heart I stamped the image from the set Take It To Heart in Real Red ink.  I layered all the hearts and attached them to my card and then placed a bow I made with the Real Red ribbon to the left of the hearts.  To finish I stamped the banner in Real Red ink from the new set called Bloomin Love and then stamped the sentiment (masking off the heart) inside the banner.  I fussy cut the finished banner and using pop dots placed it on my card in the lower left side and then using the mini heart punch cut a heart out of a piece of Real Red cardstock and placed it right above the banner.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my card today.  If you feel inspired please go to Stamp Ink Paper and enter your creation. I would love to see what you create!

Until next time

Happy Crafting 🙂

SIP #33 Color Challenge

Good morning! We can finally see some ground after that massive snow storm we got last weekend here on the East Coast.  Did you get any snow from that storm?

It’s Tuesday and that means we have another challenge for you today over at Stamp Ink Paper.

This week we have a color inspiration for you

SIP #33 Color Challenge

This is what I created with these colors

Bloomin Hearts Be Mine

I started my card with a Real Red card base.  I didn’t have any gold cardstock so I used a scrap piece of paper and embossed it in gold for my next layer.  The top layer is a piece of Basic Black that I embossed with a Tim Holtz music folder.  Next I die cut the SU Bloomin Hearts in Real Red cardstock and then clear embossed it and layered it on my card and then added some gold flat back pearls on the flower parts of the heart.  To finish I stamped the banner and sentiment from the set Bloomin Love onto Kraft cardstock and then fussy cut it out and placed above the heart with pop dots.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed my card and you can come play along with our color challenge this week!

Until next time

Happy Crafting 🙂
