Good morning! What an amazing thing to experience yesterday with the Eclipse. I hope you were able to see it. In Virginia we had it at 82% but I also watched the total eclipses on tv and was just amazed.
Today I wanted to share my card for our new challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper. This week we have a Back To School theme
Awhile back I seen a pencil shaped card on Pinterest so I thought what a perfect card for our theme this week. I started with a kraft card base in the measurements of 3 x 5 1/2. To create the point of the pencil I marked the center point on the left side and 2 inches down on the top and bottom then trimmed off the pieces to create the point. To create the pencil lead I punched a circle in black cardstock and glued it to the end of the point and then trimmed off the over hanging pieces. To create the eraser I took a piece of white cardstock and sponged with Distress Oxide in Worn Lipstick. For the pencil barrel I used a piece of Summer Sun cardstock. For the metal rim I used a piece of foil cardstock. Next I took a black chalk tag by American Crafts and heat embossed the sentiment and image using the Unity set We’re Back in white. I adhered the tag using dimensionals. This was a super quick fun card to make.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Until next time
Happy Crafting 🙂

This is the cutest tag ever Ginger!!! Where do you find the little circles that you put around the holes in tags (white in this case)? I’ve been meaning to ask this on the FB page.
