Fabulous Florals

Good morning! Today I wanted to share a couple things. First this is my second day as a Growing In Unity girl and it’s also our new challenge over at Stamp Ink Paper. This week is all about flowers. Here is the inspiration

For my card I wanted to use the beautiful flower from the Unity June Kit of the Month. Here is my card I created

I started with a Pumkin Pie card base and then added a layer of graph paper that I coffee died and then a layer of Basic Black and then the top layer of a typeset dsp.  Next I stamped the flower using versamark onto watercolor paper and embossed with black power. Using my Tim Holtz inks and a water brush I Watercolored the flower and leaves. After that dried I fussy cut and adhered to my card using dimensionals. To finish I stamped the sentiment and added water drops to the flower and leaves using nuvo drops.

Here is the link to the Unity stamps I used

  8. Love this girl. Did you do a brown line underneath the card to give it depth or is that a shadow?

  18. I love how you used the black embossing powder, nuvo for the water drops and the depth that you used to color this. All of them combined, makes this stamp almost look like Stained glass with the black embossing powder looking like “leading” around it when you finished it. Love how you did this!
