Good morning! It’s Tuesday and I’m here to share my card for our challenge this week over at Stamp Ink Paper . This week we have a fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge
And here is the card I created
When the Rose Wonder bundle first came out with the Stampin Up Occasion catalog I seen a card made with this design and I absolutely loved it and knew I wanted to try it! So when I first seen the Tic-Tac-Toe choices for our challenge I knew this was what I was going to make. At first sight it looks like a standard A2 card but it’s not. This card actually has a large pull out tag! Here is the front of the tag
And here is the back
How cool is that! I love tag cards! And this one is so easy to make.
I started with a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Next I cut another piece of black at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and then cut 2 pieces of Whisper White at 4 x 5 1/4. Next I stamped the Rose image on one of the white pieces and attached to the smaller black panel and then stamped the leaves and sentiment on the other white piece and attached it to the back of the smaller black panel. Now I used my Zig Clean Color markers and a water brush and colored in the images. After I finished coloring I punched a ribbon hole at the top of this panel and added a piece of ribbon for the tag pull. Next I die cut the Rose image in basic black cardstock. Now I took the smaller finished panel and laid it on the larger black panel and centered it and used a paper clip to hold it in place and then took the Rose die cut and placed it on top of the stamped and colored image and when it was perfectly lined up I then folded the three edges that were hanging over and using tombow glued them down of the back side. And there is your holder for your tag! To finish I die cut the tag from the bundle in black and a scalloped oval in white and stamped the sentiment and added this to the panel.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you get the chance to play along with us this week! I can’t wait to see what you all will make!
Until next time
Happy crafting 🙂
