Good morning! Spring is almost here and the weather here in Virginia is so nice this week. We are suppose to be in the 70’s all week. I hope you having good weather as well.
It’s Tuesday and that means we have another challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper. This week we have a color challenge for you and here’s the inspiration
I decided to get a head start and use these colors to make a Mothers Day card and this is what I created
I started with a Pear Pizzazz card base and then added a layer of DSP. For the next two layers I took a piece of Sahara Sand and crumbled it up and then straightened it back out and used my Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink pad and rubbed over it to create an aged distressed look. Next I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped the Sanded background stamp on it in Blushing Bride ink and then off centered those two pieces together and added them to my card. Now I cut the tea cup in Sahara and stamped the sentiment using the set A Nice Cuppa and matching framelits. I also cut the tea tag from the same set and then added a pink flower to it and added both these to the card. To finish I made a bow with a piece of Pear Pizzazz ribbon and added it to my card.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my card this week.
Until next time
Happy Crafting 🙂
