SIP Challenge #25 Card Makers Choice

Good morning! I had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you all did too! It’s Tuesday again and that means we have another challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper.  This week our challenge is a card makers choice. Who doesn’t love that kind of freedem!

This is what I came up with

I started with a Real Red card base and then a layer of basic black. Next I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped the tree in Old Olive from Lovely As A Tree twice, one higher than the other. I then sponged Marina Mist on the upper portion to create a sky and then embossed this using the Softly Falling folder. Next I die cut the lamp post using a die from Gina and then I stamped the wreath from Festive Fireplace in Old Olive and die cut it with the matching dies. I hung the wreath from the lamp post and glued it down to the left side of the cardstock. Next I die cut the fence on Kraft cardstock and distressed in Vintage Photo ink, I don’t have the packaging anymore so I’m not sure of the manufacturer.  I placed the fence at the bottom and then added the merry sentiment that I die cut in red vellum and whisper white layered from the Christmas Greetings thinlets. To finish my card I colored the area behind the lamp with yellow and made a small bow using the Poppy Parade stitched poly ribbon and placed it in the middle of the wreath.
