Stamp Ink Paper Sketch Challenge #14

Good Morning! Its Tuesday which means we have another challenge for you over at Stamp Ink Paper.  This week our inspiration is a sketch challenge

SIP Sketch Challenge #14

I had been wanting to play with a new stamp set I had recently purchased so this was a perfect opportunity.  This is the card I made

Some Odd Girl

I started with Stampin Up Strawberry Slush cardstock for my base.  Next I layered a piece of patterened paper.  The next layer is a piece of SU Whisper White that I stamped the needle from a set called In Stitches Tia by Some Odd Girl, and then inked the edges.  Next i cut another small piece of Strawberry Slush and heat embossed the sentiment in white and layered on my card.  I stamped the girl and colored her with my copics and then fussy cut and layered her so it looked like she was sitting on the edge of the pink layer.  The last thing I did was stamp the thread spool on kraft paper and then fussy cut and wrapped pink/white twine around it and attached a brad to the front and popped it on the card.  I absolutely love this set! I can see many more cute cards with this in the future.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you play along with us for this sketch challenge this week at Stamp Ink Paper

Until next time, Happy Crafting 🙂
